Milwaukee Public Library is sponsoring YMAA Tai Chi Ch'uan of Wisconsin for a series of four free classes to be held at the East Library in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This series of four classes is designed to provide the participants with some basic skills in Tai Chi & Qigong in order for them to more fully appreciate and participate in the event below.

World Tai Chi & Qigong Day is an opportunity for the World to unite in celebration of these two related classic Chinese practices. For more than 20 years, YMAA Tai Chi Ch'uan of Wisconsin has been happy to bring together newcomers to these arts, and provide long time practitioners to lead and demonstrate their own unique practice. Bring family and friends and some comfortable shoes for a gentle morning romp of activity and learning about this unique sport. Free and open to the Public. No experience needed. Beginner's Tai Chi Class Course Content:
Mirror Image Tai Chi Ch'uan Forms (16 forms on left and right sides)
Primary Qigong Set (12 forms - Stationary drill
Moving Qigong Set (10 forms across the floor)
Course includes instructional handouts, an app for your devices, as well as other supporting options for self study. Additional classes are held on Wednesdays at various remote sites. Students are expected to reinforce classroom learning during their free time practice.
